That Oneness Guy
Don't put off the chance to show love. Just Love!

Hello my friends in Oneness,
I have to tell you. Living through this cancer journey of mine offers me so many opportunities to recognize Oneness and all that it represents. There are so many times that I find myself saying "Yes! that's what it's all about!". And when I find myself saying this the most, is when I experience, recognize, or witness an act of Love. We know that love is the primary energy of the Universe. It is all encompassing and it is truly what we are as spiritual beings, because we emanate from a source that is purely love.
Now, the example that I would like to highlight for this blog is perfect as it is directly correlated to the title. I received a call earlier this week from a cousin of mine. Those who know me, know about the relationships I have with my many, many cousins. We have been, and remain, very close to one another, even as we age and our respective families grow. With that said, because of our jobs, families and lives, it's not that easy to stay in touch. And, as I'm sure you also experience, there are gaps sometimes when we don't hear from friends or loved ones for weeks, months or even years. This is an unfortunate truth for all of us. The old adage is 'life gets in the way'.
"I'm driving home and I was thinking about you, so I wanted to check in and see how you're doing"
So, just hearing these words brought an intense smile to my soul. So much, that I felt the need to explain the reason why to my cousin. I told my cousin the truth. I said:
"You just made my day cuz, and here's why. I know that you're not the only one who's thinking about me, and wondering if if I'm OK. But you did more than that. You acted. You made a conscious decision to do more. Was it necessary? No. But the extra effort makes all the difference in the world"
It was important for me to let my cousin know that it's acts like his that create change in our world. Simple gestures like making a call, especially when it follows up your thoughts are priceless. The thoughts are an energy. Energy is love, which connects us, and that is why we think about certain individuals throughout our days. But what I would like to ask of you today, especially during this holiday season is this:
Make that extra effort. Go the extra mile. Make the call. Go visit someone. We're all busy, and no one has the time. I get it. But,
"Don't put off the chance to show love.
Just Love!"
Happy Holidays In Oneness,
Danny
